Haley Silver is a costume designer based in New York City. A native of Los Angeles, she discovered her passion for costume design at 14 years old, while helping with quick changes for her high school’s production of You Can’t Take it With You (which she auditioned for and did not get into).
After working as an assistant costume designer in the Bay Area for a number of years, she returned to LA to achieve her MFA in costume design from UCLA. Before moving to NYC, she spent numerous seasons as a costume supervisor at LA Opera, and designed multiple works for the Hollywood Fringe Festival. She recently worked as an assistant costume designer on Giulia: The Poison Queen of Palermo at PAC NYC, and designed The Impresario with The Lighthouse Opera Company.
When she’s not working in theater, Haley enjoys seeing theater, discussing theater, and going to the movies (to watch proshots of theater).
